Funsat's Super Quarta hiring event draws hundreds of job seekers in Brazil

On Wednesday, June 3, the Fundação Social do Trabalho (Funsat) hosted an edition of the Emprega CG “Super Quarta” job fair. The event, organized with the supermarket chain Atacadão, brought together candidates and recruiters for immediate hiring of positions such as cash‑operator, stock‑repositor, shop assistant, butcher and warehouse aide. Attendees could also browse a panel listing 1,432 vacancies across 126 occupations posted by 154 companies. Participants included Ana Paula Pereira da Silva, 42, who secured an interview for a shop‑operator role, and Marlon Garcia Nogueira, 21, who applied for a stock‑repositor position. HR analyst Larissa Rodrigues Fernandes highlighted the partnership’s role in offering free labour‑intermediation and speeding up candidate screening.

A follow‑up edition is scheduled for June 17 at the Polo Moreninhas Funsat site, where 500 additional jobs will be offered in fields ranging from telemarketing to pharmacy counter service. Salaries will vary from the minimum wage up to R$ 3,000, and Funsat will resume public services on Monday, June 8.
