FunSports Cup 2026 concludes in Brașov with 134 teams

The 12th edition of the FunSports Cup, a prominent youth handball tournament, has concluded in Brașov, Romania. The event featured 134 teams competing across 13 sports categories, totaling approximately 400 matches held in eight different sports halls.

The tournament held an international character, hosting teams from nine countries, including Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Moldova, alongside Romanian participants. Competitors ranged from Mini-handball to the U19 level.

In the U15 girls' category, CSO Viitorul Darabani achieved a notable victory. After winning all matches in Group A, including a comeback win against Vicovu de Sus, the team secured the title. The event was supported by the Romanian Handball Federation and the Brașov Municipality.
