Furniture exhibitions highlight home-like trends in Spain

Major furniture and interior design exhibitions in Spain are showcasing a shift toward warmer, more comfortable environments for both professional and residential spaces.

At Feria Hábitat València 2026, professional furniture brands are moving away from uniform office layouts in favor of designs that mimic residential living rooms. Companies such as Actiu, Andreu World, Expormim, Sancal, and Experimentarium are presenting collections that emphasize soft lighting, natural textures, and intimate seating arrangements. These designs aim to facilitate informal meetings and social interaction within offices, hotels, and reception areas.

Simultaneously, the 32nd edition of Firahogar will take place from November 6 to 8 at IFA – Fira Alacant in Elche. This event focuses on home renovation, offering a wide range of products including sofas, mattresses, lighting, and kitchen equipment. Organizers emphasize the value of the in-person experience, allowing consumers to test materials and comfort firsthand before making purchasing decisions.
