Fury in the Slaughterhouse to celebrate 40th anniversary with arena shows
The German rock band Fury in the Slaughterhouse is planning two arena shows in their home city of Hannover on November 5 and 6, 2027, to celebrate their 40th anniversary. Frontman Kai Wingenfelder indicated that while he has not decided on retirement, he would ultimately defer to his wife’s judgment regarding his future on stage.
Formed in Hannover, the band rose to prominence in the 1990s with hits such as “Won’t Forget These Days” and “Time To Wonder,” even achieving chart success in the United States. After an official breakup in 2008, the group reunited in 2017. Wingenfelder noted that their mid-career break was a significant period that allowed the members to appreciate their music and legacy.
