Futsal activities expand in Noto with league promotion and local tournaments

Futsal activities are expanding in Noto, Italy, through both competitive league preparation and local community tournaments.

Noto Calcio a 5 is preparing for its debut in Serie C1 following a successful promotion. The club is currently finalizing its roster and technical staff to ensure stability in the higher category. The leadership team includes Alberto Mulè, technical manager Cristian Cretto, and athletic trainer Giuseppe Teodoro. The organization is focusing on team cohesion and integrating new players to meet the challenges of the upcoming season.

Additionally, the Speed Futsal Netino tournament was recently held at the Nino’s Club Romano fields. Organized by the Noto Municipality's Sports Commission in collaboration with Mayor Corrado Figura, the event featured teams from Noto, Siracusa, and Melilli. The tournament included professional Serie A players, such as Leo Bocci and Giuseppe Failla. The winning team was led by Cristian Cutrali. Local officials noted that the event aims to promote social aggregation and youth engagement through sports.
