Regional football tournaments advance across South America

Various regional football tournaments and leagues across South America are entering key stages of their 2026 seasons.

In Argentina, the XX Diablitos National Youth Football Tournament, organized by Club Atlético Gorriti, will host over 2,500 children in Jujuy from September 25 to 27. Additionally, the Riojana Football League's Reserve Category will hold a decisive second final between Independiente and Rioja Juniors on September 27. The Liga Comercial Natal Giménez will pause its activity on September 27 to hold a commercial employee marathon.

In Peru, the Liga 2 2026 Final Phase begins on September 25, featuring various group divisions for promotion and relegation. The Futsal Pro 2026 regular phase continues with matches scheduled for late September, while the Liga 3 regional phase enters its 17th round, though several teams like Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal will be absent due to the South American Games in Santa Fe.

In Bolivia, the Copa Paceña 2026 group stage continues with its fifth round from September 25 to 27, featuring matches involving teams such as The Strongest and Always Ready. In Chile, the Copa PFalimentos has launched its regional stage in Talca, involving 40 school teams in the Sub-10 and Sub-12 categories.
