Futura Volley begins preseason training for A2 Elite season
Futura Volley has commenced its summer preparations for the upcoming A2 Elite championship season. The team is undergoing intensive training to integrate new personnel and establish tactical cohesion.
One segment of the squad, led by coach Michele Marchiaro, is participating in a training retreat in Val di Fassa, Dolomites, to prepare for the 2026/27 season and upcoming friendly matches. Key players mentioned include Brazilian opposite hitter Edinara Brancher and European U22 champion Helena Sassolini. The team is scheduled to play friendly matches against Millenium Brescia and Longobard.
In another aspect of the club's preparation, physical trainer Andrea Siclari highlighted the team's ambitions under new coach Sylvio Rocha. Siclari noted the importance of Rocha's extensive professional experience and the team's determination to compete at a high level in the official championship.
