Futurama Season 14 Trailer Unveiled and Three Extended Specials Announced
At San Diego Comic‑Con, Hulu released the official trailer for Futurama’s 14th season, set to premiere on Monday 3 August 2026. The trailer teases “a non‑stop onslaught of swaggering space pirates, lab‑grown meats, sexy scams… plus the shocking return of Dr. Zoidberg’s lost love,” with the series’ core voice cast—Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman—returning for the ten‑episode run.
During the same panel, Hulu confirmed green‑lighting three “XXXL‑sized” specials. The first will be a Christmas‑themed episode slated for 2027; details on the remaining two specials remain undisclosed. The specials are being produced by 20th Television Animation and will join Hulu’s adult‑animation lineup alongside Disney+ internationally.
A further highlight was the announcement that Season 14 will feature a crossover episode with Matt Groening’s cancelled Netflix series Disenchantment, bringing the two animated universes together for the first time.
