Future 100 Slovenia identifies 100 high-growth companies

The first 'Future 100 Slovenia 2026' list has been unveiled in Bled, identifying 100 Slovenian companies with significant potential for international expansion and growth. This initiative is part of the Future 500 strategic project, a partnership between IEDC Business School Bled, the Atlantic Council, and the Bled Strategic Forum.

Slovenia serves as the pilot market for this broader European initiative. The selected 100 companies have demonstrated rapid scaling, more than doubling their revenues from one billion to over two billion euros within three years. These firms employ approximately 8,100 people and have created around 2,400 new jobs during that period. The group features a strong industrial and technological core, with 45 companies from the technology sector and 37 from manufacturing.

Stjepan Orešković, the initiator of the Future 500 initiative, emphasized that the goal is to provide these companies with the same advantages as global competitors, such as access to capital and unified markets. Slovenian Minister of Economy, Labor, and Sport Anže Logar noted that while Europe possesses talent and capital, it must improve the connections between them and provide the necessary infrastructure for growth to remain competitive with the US and China.
