Future Property Group proposes factory-built homes in Orange

Future Property Group is investigating a project in Orange to address the local housing crisis using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). The proposal involves using factory-built components that are partially constructed off-site before being completed on location to increase delivery speed.

Managing director David Cummins stated that conventional building methods are insufficient for current demand. The company aims to focus on long-term affordability by reducing energy costs. According to company modelling, these eco-homes could achieve an operational payback in less than five years, whereas traditional homes typically take 15 to 20 years.
