Futuro Nazionale faces internal right‑wing debate over Vannacci’s leadership

Antonio Falzarano of Futuro Nazionale replied to statements by Massimiliano Fedriga, president of the Friuli‑Venezia‑Giulia Regional Council, insisting that political discussion cannot be reduced to slogans. He said the debate should focus on issues such as security, immigration, national identity and social cohesion, which affect millions of citizens, and called for pluralism within the centre‑right coalition.

Reporting also describes how the movement’s leader Roberto Vannacci is courting figures from Italy’s far‑right “black galaxy,” including former Forza Nuova member Giuliano Castellino, his sister Ramona Castellino, extremist organiser Alfredo Iorio, former skinhead leader Piero Puschi and Milan activist Roberto Jonghi Lavarini. These contacts illustrate Vannacci’s effort to broaden Futuro Nazionale’s base by engaging neo‑fascist and nationalist groups.
