Futuro Nazionale rallies 67,000 members ahead of 2027 elections in Italy

The new political movement Futuro Nazionale, led by former general Roberto Vannacci, says its national membership has risen to more than 67,000, up from 60,000 a week earlier. In Tuscany the movement counts about 3,500 members, including roughly 500 in the province of Lucca, where it has opened committees in Lucca, Viareggio, Pietrasanta, Forte dei Marmi, Seravezza, Villa Basilica and the Garfagnana area.

Futuro Nazionale plans to field candidates in the 2027 municipal and national elections, aiming to present a mayoral candidate in Milan and to decide any alliance with the centre‑right shortly before the vote. The party emphasises security, immigration control, pensions, health and social issues, and currently avoids naming regional leaders while building a grassroots cadre for a constituent assembly in June in Rome.
