Fuxing Golden Sweet Potato Carnival held in Changhua

The Fuxing Township Office hosted the Golden Sweet Potato Carnival on October 31 at the plaza in front of the township office in Changhua County. The event, themed “Sea Breeze Nourishes the Soil, Sweet Potatoes Gather Human Sentiment,” aimed to showcase local agricultural products, rural culture, and community vitality.

The carnival featured a variety of activities, including a “Sweet Potato Mountain Challenge,” a local market, and food and agriculture experiences for families. A special collaboration with murmur A-Wan Donuts introduced limited-edition sweet potato donuts to integrate local produce into modern desserts.

Township Mayor Chiang Yen-tung stated that the event seeks to promote Fuxing’s high-quality agricultural products and provide opportunities for young farmers, local communities, and specialty brands to collaborate. The program included musical performances by various local groups and artists to foster community connection.
