FWD Insurance and PJI launch financial literacy program for students

FWD Insurance Indonesia and Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI) have introduced the JA SparktheDream Social Challenge 2026. This initiative aims to empower junior high school students to develop social innovations that support community financial well-being.

The program, now in its fourth year, has reached over 2,300 students across 12 cities and regencies. It utilizes a learning ecosystem involving schools, families, and volunteers to teach personal financial management. As part of the competition, student teams identify local social issues and create short videos proposing solutions and explaining the intended benefits.

Halimatus Sa’diyah, Deputy Director of Financial Education Implementation at the Financial Services Authority (OJK), noted that students are a priority segment for strengthening financial literacy and inclusion, as their current understanding and usage of financial services remain below the national average. Rudy F. Manik, Chief Human Resources and Marketing Officer at FWD Insurance, emphasized that early financial education serves as a long-term investment to prepare the younger generation for future risks and economic changes.
