FX Announces September Premiere of Snowfall Spin‑off “The Drop: A Snowfall Saga”

The FX cable network has set the launch date for the Snowfall spin‑off series The Drop: A Snowfall Saga. The drama premieres on September 8 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) and will be shown simultaneously on FX and the streaming service Hulu, with international availability on Disney+.

The series follows former Snowfall characters Wanda Bell (Gail Bean) and Leon Simmons (Isaiah John) as they navigate 1990s Los Angeles amid the lingering effects of the crack epidemic and the rise of West Coast rap. Executive producers include Malcolm Spellman, Dave Andron, Thomas Schlamme, Julie DeJoie, Michael London, Trevor Engelson and Paul Garnes, and the show is produced by FX Productions.
