FX's 'The Shards' premieres with original music by Troye Sivan and Leland

FX's new drama series The Shards, based on Bret Easton Ellis’s bestselling novel and produced by Ryan Murphy’s team, launches in early August. The first two episodes become available on Disney+ on 6 August in Australia and on Hulu/Disney+ on 5 August in Canada.

Pop star Troye Sivan and longtime collaborator Leland are contributing original songs to the series, joined by rising artist Hayes Warner, who also appears in the show as Debbie Schaffer. Their music is designed to echo the series’ 1980s Los Angeles setting and the dark, suspenseful tone of the story.
