G. A. Group launches GAwork recruitment site for foreign workers

G. A. Group Co., Ltd. has released ‘GAwork’, a new job recruitment website designed to help foreign nationals find employment in Japan. The platform specifically targets talent from countries including Vietnam, Indonesia, and Myanmar, aiming to bridge the gap between international job seekers and Japanese companies.

This launch follows a survey conducted by the company regarding the automotive transportation industry. The report revealed that over 54% of management in the sector face personnel shortages. Furthermore, more than 70% of surveyed executives reported that their systems for accepting foreign drivers remain unestablished, despite the addition of the automotive industry to the ‘Specified Skilled Worker’ program over a year ago.

Key obstacles identified by industry leaders include language barriers, a lack of expertise in training and integration, and difficulties in providing lifestyle support for foreign staff. While many companies struggle with these hurdles, approximately one in three managers expressed a positive intention to recruit foreign drivers in the future.
