G. Carducci Classical Lyceum celebrates 90 years in Nola

The G. Carducci State Classical Lyceum in Nola is marking its 90th anniversary with a series of events spanning from 1936 to 2026. The celebrations, organized by the school administration and the Alumni Association, focus on the institution's history, the memory of former students, and the role of new generations.

The commemorative program includes three main appointments: an inaugural event on October 23 at the via Seminario auditorium featuring institutional greetings and a discussion on the value of classical studies; a meeting between alumni and current students on November 20; and a celebration on December 16 as part of the National Night of the Classical Lyceum.

The opening day will include a photographic journey titled ‘The Lyceum through time’ and a debate titled ‘The future has classical roots,’ involving various regional leaders, educators, and officials from the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Campania Region.
