G DATA CyberDefense employees conduct autumn clean-up in Bochum
Twelve employees from G DATA CyberDefense organized their first autumn clean-up in Bochum, Germany. Inspired by the city’s spring cleaning campaigns, the teams spent three hours collecting litter in the areas surrounding the company’s Königsallee campus.
Supported by equipment from USB Bochum, the volunteers collected 16 bags of waste, including plastic packaging, cigarette butts, and various discarded items such as a parasol stand and a VW logo. Andreas Lüning, co-founder and director of G DATA CyberDefense, emphasized that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to social responsibility and active engagement with their home city.
The event is part of the company’s broader sustainability efforts led by the ‘Team Planet’ working group, which has been active since 2022 to promote environmentally conscious behavior within the organization.
