G-Dragon invites national merit descendants to BIGBANG concert

G-Dragon, the honorary chairman of the Just Peace Foundation, has invited descendants of independence activists and Korean War veterans, as well as correctional officers, to a BIGBANG 20th anniversary world tour concert. The invitation was made possible through concert tickets personally purchased and donated by G-Dragon to the foundation.

This initiative is part of the foundation’s ‘Hero Recovery’ project, which aims to honor those who have dedicated themselves to social safety and peace. Following a similar program last year that invited firefighters and police officers, the scope of the project has expanded to include descendants of national merit recipients and correctional staff who work in inmate rehabilitation and public safety.

Oh Hee-young, representative of the Just Peace Foundation, stated that the goal is to show society that the efforts of those working behind the scenes are not forgotten, using culture and the arts to provide comfort and respect to those who protect the community.
