G MMA announces debut tournament with controversial matchups
The new combat sports organization G MMA has held its inaugural press conference, announcing a lineup of unconventional and controversial matchups for its debut tournament on October 31 in Nová Spirála.
Promoter Jakub Jíra, formerly of Clash of the Stars, introduced several high-profile and eccentric bouts. Uzbek fighter and Oktagon champion Makhmud Muradov is set to face multiple members of the Kotlár family in succession. Another notable matchup features convicted murderer Jiří Kajínek fighting an opponent named Bachař under special rules, with a potential future fight against Vojtěch Pokoš.
The event also includes a match between radical AC Sparta Prague fans and police officers. Former Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek is slated to participate in G MMA projects, including a culinary show. The press conference was marked by several heated moments, including a physical confrontation between Karlos Vémola and Diego Kotlár.
