G-MODE announces physical release of Nihon no Inaka Gurashi

G-MODE has announced that the physical package version of the slow-life simulation gameNihon no Inaka Gurashi’ will be released for the Nintendo Switch on November 12, 2026. While a digital version was previously released on March 4, 2026, the upcoming physical edition allows players to collect the game in a tangible format.

Developed by GAME START LLC, the game features pixel art and focuses on experiencing rural Japanese life. Players take on the role of a protagonist moving from the city to an old vacant house, where they can garden, fish, collect insects, and participate in seasonal Japanese traditions such as cherry blossom viewing and summer festivals.

Pre-orders for the physical edition have begun, with various retailers offering original store-specific bonuses, including badges, bromides, and tapestries. Additionally, a software update (Ver 1.3.0) has been released to coincide with the announcement, adding new ‘treasures’ to various areas of the game.
