G Parameshwara addresses calls to become Karnataka Chief Minister

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara addressed public calls for him to be elevated to the position of Chief Minister, stating that while such sentiments from the public and religious leaders are natural, the post is not vacant. He emphasized that political parties operate according to established conventions and structures, noting that he is not making any efforts for the position while the current Chief Minister is in office.

Earlier, Parameshwara inaugurated the state-level Dasara Sports Meet-CM Cup 2026 at the Chamundi Vihar Indoor Stadium in Mysuru.
