G. R. D. Cesena inaugurates new minibus for youth with Down syndrome

The G. R. D. (Genitori Ragazzi Down di Cesena ODV) association officially inaugurated a new minibus in Longiano to improve transportation for youth with Down syndrome. The vehicle was purchased for 37,000 euros, funded through a combination of community support and institutional contributions.

A crowdfunding campaign titled ‘TOGETHER, TO GET THERE’ reached 173% of its initial goal, involving 137 donors via the IdeaGinger platform supported by RomagnaBanca. Additionally, the Lions Club Rubicone contributed 5,200 euros toward the purchase. The new vehicle addresses growing logistical needs as the association's activities and number of participants have increased, making previous reliance on private vehicles from volunteers insufficient.
