Actor and National Award-winning music director G V Prakash has shared details regarding his upcoming horror thriller, ‘Immortal’. Described as a fantasy mystery survival thriller, the film is noted for being a vampire story, a genre Prakash says is relatively new to Tamil cinema.

The production involved a two-year timeline, consisting of one year of shooting and one year dedicated to computer-generated imagery (CG) work. To ensure international standards, the CG work is being handled by top firms in Canada. The narrative follows a man who has lived for 4,000 years, spanning prehistoric times, tribal life, and the present day.

Co-starring Kayadu Lohar, the film has received a ‘U’ certificate from the Censor Board and is scheduled for release on September 4.
