G2 Esports defeats Leviatán to advance in VCT Americas

G2 Esports has secured a spot at the VALORANT Champions 2026 tournament after defeating Leviatán 2-1 in the VCT Americas Stage 2 playoffs. While Leviatán won the first map, Split, 13-10, G2 responded with consecutive wins on Abyss (13-9) and Summit (13-8) to advance.

With this loss, Leviatán is eliminated from the playoffs and now requires specific results from other teams to secure a place at the world championship. Other teams previously eliminated from the decisive phase include FURIA and Evil Geniuses.

In other playoff action, LOUD defeated MIBR to advance toward the upcoming matches in São Paulo.
