G2 Esports launches virtual Minecraft headquarters for Worlds 2026
G2 Esports has recreated its Berlin headquarters within Minecraft to serve as a virtual hub for fans during the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. The digital space is accessible 24/7 and will remain online after the tournament concludes, with more watch parties planned throughout 2027.
To participate, fans must use the CurseForge desktop application to download and install a specific G2 modpack. The virtual headquarters features a giant in-game screen that broadcasts livestreams from co-streamer Jankos. For example, during the Swiss Stage match against Hanwha Life Esports, fans gathered in the virtual office to watch the series together.
In addition to match viewing, the server offers downloadable in-game skins based on the organization’s professional kits and jerseys from previous seasons. The initiative aims to expand the reach of G2’s physical Berlin office by providing a shared space for its global community.
