Ireland will host Culture Night on Friday, 18 September 2026, offering free cultural events across towns, cities, villages and rural communities. The programme follows a landmark 2025 edition that featured more than 1,800 free events nationwide.

The 2026 ambassadors are GAA footballer‑turned‑designer Paul Galvin, Booker Prize‑longlisted author Djamel White, night‑time economy advocate Andrea Horan and sean‑nós singer‑content creator Máire Ní Churraoin. Galvin said the night celebrates “creativity, talent and cultural life that make Ireland unique” and highlighted how storytelling connects identity, heritage and community.
