GAAAT to host final ‘Initial D’ art exhibition in Shibukawa, Gunma
Art brand GAAAT has announced the final venue for its ‘Initial D Art Exhibition by GAAAT’. The event will be held in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, on October 17 and 18, 2026.
Located at the Tokiwa Hall on the 3rd floor of the Shibukawa City Ikaho Ropeway Fugaru Station, the exhibition serves as the conclusion to a tour that previously visited Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Yokohama. The exhibition focuses on the manga series ‘Initial D’ by Shuichi Shigeno, which is set in locations around Gunma Prefecture.
The event will showcase and sell works created using GAAAT’s proprietary ‘Metal Canvas Art’ (MCA) technology. These pieces use metal materials and three-dimensional expressions to depict iconic scenes and vehicles from the series, such as the AE86 and FC3S. Featured works include ‘AE86 x FC3S - Akina Mountain’ and ‘Fujiwara Takumi AE86 Trueno’.
