Gabe Kidd returns to AEW to reunite The Dogs

Gabe Kidd made a surprise return to AEW on the latest episode of Dynamite, reuniting with teammates Clark Connors and David Finlay to reform the group known as The Dogs. Kidd’s appearance followed Jon Moxley’s victory over Jay White in the Continental Challenge Cup. During a subsequent brawl involving Connors, Finlay, Orange Cassidy, and Kyle O’Reilly, Kidd joined the fray, prompting AEW World Trios Champions “Hangman” Adam Page and Brodie Lee to intervene. The confrontation has established an open challenge for the Trios Championship at the upcoming AEW All In event.

Kidd had been absent from AEW television since April’s Dynasty event, where The Dogs lost their Trios championships. His absence was attributed to a shoulder injury and subsequent visa issues. During this period, Kidd competed in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), capturing the IWGP Global Championship and participating in the G1 tournament.
