Santos director Alexandre Mattos indicated that any potential permanent move or extension would be discussed after the championship, noting that the club's upcoming elections and financial situation are key factors.

Gabigol has expressed that staying at Santos is difficult due to the club's financial issues. While he has not ruled out a return to Cruzeiro, any decision will depend on his performance and the club's planning for the next season.
