Sébastien Migné signs three-year contract to lead Gabon national football team
Sébastien Migné has officially signed a three-year contract to lead the Gabon national football team, known as the Panthères, through 2029. The agreement was finalized at the headquarters of the Gabonese Football Federation (Fégafoot).
Migné’s monthly salary, which includes his European assistant, is set at 21.75 million FCFA. This is an increase from the 15 million FCFA earned by his predecessor, Thierry Mouyouma. The compensation package excludes performance bonuses, housing, vehicles, and transport, which are provided by the Gabonese state. Additionally, the contract includes a 6 million FCFA victory bonus and a 4 million FCFA regrouping bonus.
The technical staff will feature a mix of international and local expertise. Anicet Yala will serve as assistant coach, while former national team captain Bruno Ecuélé Manga has been confirmed as general manager for the next three years. Migné’s immediate priority will be the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, starting in September.
