Gabon distributes school kits as rare quadruplets are born in Algeria

In Gabon, Minister of Economy Thierry Minko distributed 2,400 school kits to students in Lambaréné on behalf of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. The event, held in the Moyen-Ogooué province, also included an awards ceremony for the ten top-performing high school graduates of the region to promote academic excellence.

In Algeria, medical teams at the EHS Hakim Saâdane hospital in Laghouat successfully delivered quadruplets—three girls and one boy. The 38-year-old mother underwent a controlled cesarean section, and both the mother and the four infants are reported to be in good health following specialized neonatal and post-operative care.
