Gabon hosts national theater tour and local product exhibition

The National Theater of Gabon is continuing its national tour with the production ‘Le coup de la Libération’. The play is scheduled to be performed on September 26 in Mouila, the capital of the Ngounié province. According to National Theater Director Étienne Nzigou Kounda, the tour aims to reach remote populations to present the historical significance of Gabon’s electoral periods through a mix of humor and drama.

In a separate local initiative, the commune of Lébamba hosted an exhibition fair on September 20 to showcase ‘Made in Gabon’ products. The event followed a three-day training program focused on local product transformation techniques. Organized by the NGO La Gabonaise de Mon-Mbouet in partnership with the Made in Gabon label, the fair featured transformed local goods such as banana and cassava chips, as well as nzounzoubali juice, to promote regional resource valorization.
