Gabon leadership changes in forestry and religious administration

In Gabon, Colonel Jean Christophe Igabougui Moudouma has assumed his role as the provincial director of Water and Forests for Ogooué-Ivindo. The handover ceremony in Makokou was presided over by Brigadier General Nina Calista Samaké-Kaboubi, commander in chief of the paramilitary corps. Moudouma succeeds Colonel Donatien Moungala, who held the position for two years.

Separately, the provisional administration of the Evangelical Church of Gabon (EEG) has begun a sensitization tour to address internal crises. Led by Pastor Thierry Constant Ndong Nnang, the delegation visited the Moyen-Ogooué region to engage with parishioners. The mission aims to restore trust and prepare for a return to institutional order in accordance with state guidelines, emphasizing neutrality and reconciliation.
