Gabon President‑Founder Oligui Nguema’s Ruling Party Mobilises Support in Nyanga

The Union Démocratique des Bâtisseurs (UDB), Gabon's ruling party, continued its nationwide implantation tour in the Nyanga province. Party officials visited villages including Douvoye, Nyali, Tchibanga, Mayumba and Moabi, urging militants and locals to unite behind President‑Founder Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema and to follow the party’s discipline and development agenda.

Secretary‑General Mays Mouissi led the field visits, countering rumours of internal upheaval and emphasizing the party’s commitment to grassroots organization. He reiterated themes from the president’s recent state‑of‑the‑nation address, such as exploiting natural resources, building infrastructure, creating jobs, improving public health services and promoting national solidarity. The tour will proceed to Ogooué‑Maritime and Woleu‑Ntem provinces as the UDB seeks to solidify its local base ahead of future political contests.
