Following a period as a starter after Warleson's injury, Batista noted that his time playing in Portugal for Santa Clara helped him develop the maturity required for his current role.

Batista shared that he has followed Jefferson since his adolescence and even exchanged a shirt with him years ago. He emphasized his commitment to working daily to reach the level of the club's historical goalkeepers.
