Gabriel Bortoleto assists Audi and Pirelli in tire development

Following a strong performance at the Spanish Grand Prix, Gabriel Bortoleto is reportedly assisting in tire development for Pirelli. During the race, Bortoleto utilized a long stint to support teammate Nico Hülkenberg, helping the German driver secure a top-10 finish and a point for Audi.

Allan McNish noted that while the team's strategy involved the two cars working in tandem, Bortoleto has taken on a specific role in testing long-duration tire compounds for Pirelli to determine if they can withstand two race distances rather than just one.
