Gabriel Clemens wins at Flanders Darts Trophy

Gabriel Clemens secured a victory at the Flanders Darts Trophy, defeating Cameron Menzies 6-4 to advance to the next round. This win marks Clemens’ first European Tour victory since October of last year.

Clemens admitted that a lack of regular appearances on the European Tour stage earlier this season affected his rhythm during the opening legs. Despite Menzies leading three times in the first five legs, Clemens leveled the match at 3-3. He eventually took control after Menzies missed a bullseye for a 170 checkout. Clemens closed the match with a 13-darter on double 16.

Other notable results from the event included Rob Cross defeating Cristo Reyes with a 6-4 scoreline, and Andy Baetens overcoming Joe Cullen 6-3. Clemens is scheduled to face Gian van Veen in his next match.
