Gabriel Hostin settles Westchester trespassing case

Gabriel Hostin, the 24-year-old son of ‘The View’ co-host Sunny Hostin, has had a trespassing case in Westchester County cleared following the completion of a court-mandated diversion program.

The incident occurred on June 16 in New Rochelle, when authorities stopped Hostin for trespassing on Metro-North Railroad tracks while he was running. Bodycam footage from the encounter shows Sunny Hostin identifying herself to officers as a former federal prosecutor and a co-host of ‘The View’ in an attempt to advocate for her son.

Following the incident, prosecutors requested the dismissal of the charges after Hostin completed a three-hour ‘Fresh Start’ course on August 20. The Westchester County District Attorney’s Office described the initiative as a ‘pre-arraignment diversion program’ intended to provide eligible first-time, low-level offenders a path toward dismissal.
