Gabriel Jesus and Endrick to face off in Barcelona vs Real Madrid
The upcoming El Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid features two prominent strikers developed by the Brazilian club Palmeiras: Gabriel Jesus and Endrick.
Gabriel Jesus, 29, currently plays for league leaders Barcelona. He has recorded four goals and one assist in seven matches, averaging a goal involvement every 33.4 minutes. Jesus rose to prominence at Palmeiras, winning the 2015 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior and contributing to the club's 2015 Copa do Brasil and 2016 Campeonato Brasileiro titles before moving to Manchester City.
Endrick, 20, plays for Real Madrid following a loan spell at Lyon. He has recently seen increased playing time under manager José Mourinho, notably scoring a crucial equalizer in a 4-3 victory over Roma. Endrick joined Palmeiras' youth academy in 2016 and made his professional debut in 2022, winning multiple Brazilian league and state titles before his move to Europe.
