Gabriel Jesus David joins SKN St. Pölten from Royal Antwerp

Nigerian forward Gabriel Jesus David has joined the Austrian second-tier club SKN St. Pölten from Belgian side Royal Antwerp. The 19-year-old striker arrives on a loan deal for the 2026/27 season, which includes an option for the Austrian club to purchase the player permanently at the end of the term.

David, who previously developed at PSF Academy, had made 11 senior appearances for Royal Antwerp in the Jupiler Pro League. St. Pölten's sporting director, Christoph Freitag, noted that the player possesses an “exciting profile” and offers physical flexibility in attack. Head coach Cem Sekerlioglu added that David demonstrated goalscoring abilities during his trial sessions with the team.
