Gabriel O Pensador and Mano Brown Debut First Collaborative Single

Brazilian rap icons Gabriel O Pensador and Mano Brown released their first joint single on 6 August, Brazil's National Rap Day. The track blends Gabriel's classic "Pátria Que Me Pariu" with the Racionais MC’s anthem "Capítulo 4, Versículo 3" and was recorded during Gabriel's "Acústico 33 Anos" show in Rio de Janeiro. The collaboration opens the promotion for Gabriel's upcoming acoustic album, which will feature a range of guest artists across MPB, rap and other genres.

In the Amazon region, rappers Rafa Militão and DaCota MC launched the six‑track EP "QUILOMBRA". The project mixes contemporary hip‑hop with references to black ancestry and the everyday life of Manaus' peripheries. Rafa Militão said, "A ideia do QUILOMBRA nasceu de uma conexão muito natural," while DaCota MC described the duo as "uma espécie de quilombo ambulante". The EP is now available on major streaming platforms and aims to raise the profile of Amazonian rap on the national scene.
