Gabriel Pagán releases new merengue album ‘No Era El Plan’

Gabriel Pagán has officially released his new nine-song album, ‘No Era El Plan’, marking a new stage in his career. Following five consecutive weeks at number one on the Monitor Latino Pop Chart with ‘No Somos Nada’, the artist is focusing on the contemporary evolution of merengue.

The album features collaborations with various artists, including Manny Cruz, Ilegales, Proyecto Uno, Eddy Herrera, and La Luca, aiming to connect different generations of Dominican music. The production was handled by Pagán and YM Freak, with mixing by Lewis Pickett.

To support the release, Pagán has premiered the official music video for the title track. He plans to release each song individually accompanied by audiovisual content and promotional activities. Additionally, he will perform the production during his fourth University Tour in 2026 and at various festivals throughout the year.
