Gabriel Rivas wins national archery runner-up title

Gabriel Rivas secured the national runner-up position in the Traditional Male Senior category at the 2026 National Indoor Archery Final held at the Club Independiente de General Pico. After a strong qualifying round, Rivas defeated Mariano Otero in the quarterfinals and Lucio Saldivia in the semifinals before ultimately finishing second to Gonzalo Seffino in a highly competitive final.

In the Recurve Sub 18 category, Gonzalo Santamaría achieved a fourth-place national finish. Following a strong qualifying performance, Santamaría won his quarterfinal match against Juan Martín Gómez Festa but fell short in the semifinals against Gabriel Tonina. He subsequently lost a close bronze medal match to Fabricio Williams by only two points.

The results highlighted a successful weekend for the Club Petroquímica Tiro con Arco.
