SC Paderborn 07 has completed the signing of 22-year-old offensive player Gabriel Vidović from the Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb. The transfer is reported to be a record-breaking move for Paderborn, with an estimated transfer fee of approximately three million euros.

Vidović, who was born in Augsburg and developed through the FC Bayern München academy, returns to Germany after a successful period in Croatia. During his time with Dinamo Zagreb, he contributed significantly to the club winning a domestic double, including the league title and the cup.

Under the terms of the previous agreement between Bayern München and Dinamo Zagreb, the German club retains a 25 percent sell-on clause. If the three million euro fee is finalized, Bayern München is expected to receive approximately 750,000 euros from the transaction. Vidović will wear the number 40 shirt for Paderborn.
