Gabriela Michetti urges PRO to reclaim identity for 2027

Former Vice President Gabriela Michetti has stated that the PRO party must recover its identity with the goal of returning to the presidency in the 2027 elections. Michetti highlighted the party's need to establish a distinct profile in relation to La Libertad Avanza.

During recent remarks, Michetti endorsed Hernán Lacunza as a presidential candidate, noting that Mauricio Macri has expressed support for Lacunza's intention to run. While she voiced her support for Lacunza, she left the possibility open for other candidates to emerge. Michetti explicitly ruled out running for office herself in 2027, citing a lack of physical stamina.

Regarding the current political landscape, Michetti addressed the role of PRO members currently serving in the administration of Javier Milei. She described several key figures, including Patricia Bullrich and Luis Caputo, as constructive individuals, though she acknowledged that some may face dilemmas between their own positions and the decisions of the Executive branch.
