Gabriela Sánchez enters political race for Puebla mayoral seat

Gabriela “La Bonita” Sánchez, a former state sports secretary and world champion boxer, is positioned as a key contender for the mayoralty of Puebla capital within the MORENA party. She faces competition from the incumbent municipal president, Pepe Chedraui, who is seeking reelection.

Sánchez has been engaging in direct community outreach to strengthen her public presence.
