Sofia Barberi killed in Ceriale crash; driver charged, viral video sparks outrage
On the night of 20 June 2026 a 23‑year‑old woman, Sofia Barberi, was riding a scooter with a friend on the Aurelia road near Ceriale when a Fiat 500 collided with her. The car was driven by a 19‑year‑old woman who had held a licence for only three months.
