Gabrielle Carrington pleads not guilty to murder of TikTok star in London

Former X Factor finalist Gabrielle Carrington, 29, appeared at the Old Bailey via video link from Bronzefield prison on 3 August 2026 and entered a not‑guilty plea to murder. She is accused of deliberately driving her Mercedes into 32‑year‑old TikTok influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska outside the Inca nightclub on Argyll Street in Soho at about 4:30 a.m. on 19 April 2026. Zakrzewska died six days later from her injuries, prompting prosecutors to upgrade the charge from attempted murder to murder.

Carrington also faces a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to security guard Anoush Chyche, who was struck by the vehicle and suffered severe injuries, and a third charge of driving with excess alcohol, for which no plea was entered. Judge Sarah Whitehouse KC presided over the hearing and scheduled the trial to begin on 5 January 2027, with further pre‑trial hearings set for 11 August and 9 October 2026.
